Jessica Crockett is an actress (native to Southern California) best known for breaking through a barrier in American television. She was the very first transgender actress to portray a transgender character on television. Millions of viewers watched her groundbreaking performance on James Cameron's Dark Angel. Opening the door for the many trans actors you see on television today. She most recently made a valuable contribution to Netflix's documentary Disclosure: Trans Lives on Screen.
